NCC Republic Day Camp 2026 Commences with Sarv Dharm Pooja
- A total 2406 cadets including 898 girl cadets among participants
New Delhi. The National Cadet Corps (NCC) Republic Day Camp (RDC) 2026 commenced on 30 December 2025 at the historic Cariappa Parade Ground, Delhi Cantt, with the traditional Sarv Dharm Pooja, symbolising unity, harmony and national integration.

The month-long camp will witness a series of prestigious inter-directorate competitions and activities, including the Best Cadet Competition, Small Arms Firing, cultural events, and the Marching Contingent that will proudly participate in the Republic Day Parade at Kartavya Path. The camp will also feature Flag Area Designing, showcasing creativity and patriotic spirit.
This year marks a historic milestone for the NCC, with 2,406 cadets, including 898 girl cadets, participating from 28 States and 08 Union Territories, the highest participation ever recorded. Adding a global dimension to the celebrations, cadets and officers from 25 Friendly Foreign Countries (FFCs) are also taking part under the Youth Exchange Programme (YEP).
Addressing the cadets, Lieutenant General Virendra Vats, Director General NCC, congratulated them on their selection for the prestigious Republic Day Camp. He urged the cadets to uphold the highest standards of character, integrity, selfless service, comradeship, and teamwork, while transcending barriers of religion, language, and caste, in the true spirit of ‘Nation First’.
Reinforcing its motto ‘Unity and Discipline’, the NCC Republic Day Camp continues to serve as a vibrant platform for national integration, leadership development, and cultural exchange. By bringing together cadets from across India and abroad, the camp instils a deep sense of patriotism, discipline, and responsibility, shaping the youth into future leaders committed to the service of the nation.
